In a quantum systems, the specific instance is based on its observer’s context. consequence as a consequence, the correct setting within its range of possible settings would have to change to match or cancel-out the shift. Balanced flux, where the amount of energy pumped into a room is equal to the amount that was pumped out will provide a baseline of control over the environment.
If only one setting is made—a set it and forget it mentality—it should reflect the best chance of success. Even a system that only changes once a year is not a static one.
Some responses are unnecessary. Hermetic seals are not required. A sense of control is all that matters. Its more of a feeling and up to the occupant. They decide and they can be crazy. as in delusional. doesn’t matter—they are right generallly speaking there is an animal in all of us and that animal has a reasonably limited comfort zone. There is also the matter of survival which requires we stay alive and there are certain environments where humans perish.
We want to thrive in our homes. They are our biggest investment and it holds our most precious treasures. It’s a feeling, when it’s good the feeling is invisible.
