Got a call from aunt Charlotte and david who were at the lakehouse. Apparently my Dad suffered a heart attack early in the morning. They were crying. My Mom was driving with him to Kenora, or they were already there. For those who don’t know, they were at their island near Sioux Narrows on Regina Bay in Norwestern Ontario. [my personal happy place, btw and surprisingly find myself at currently] This is the story of how I got here.
My mind began to race [honestly it hasn’t really stopped, but that could be the weed ;)] Jeralyn was sitting right next to me, as was often the case on what I believe was a Saturday.
